Cowpea aphid-borne mosaic virus (CABMV) causes major diseases in passion flower plants in Brazil and also in other countries. CABMV has also been isolated from leguminous species including, Vigna unguiculata, Cassia hoffmannseggii, Canavalia rosea, Crotalaria juncea and Arachis hypogaea in Brazil. The CABMV belongs to the genus Potyvirus in the Potyviridae family. In the northeastern Region of Brazil, this virus can be found in cowpea and passion flower planted areas. [...]. |
