In the present study we attempted to modulate the vaccine response in goats supplemented with three strains of probiotics. Goats (n=40) kept indoors were infected with 3,000 H. contorts larvae were separated into five experimental groups vaccinated or not with Barbervax with three priming doses 21 days apart and two boosts 6 weeks apart. Supplementation consisted of oral administration of probiotics (3 x 108 CFU) of Sacharomyces boulardii, S. cerevisae or Bacillus toyonensis for five days before each vaccine dose. |
