Brazil, since 2004, is the largest exporter of bovine meat. Today, Brazil is the first one on the chicken sector and the fourth on swine. In 2007 the production was approximately 20 million tons of meat, which demanded about 20 million tons of feed and generated around 3,3 million tons of by-products, constituted mainly of guts, blood, coats, tallow, feathers and bones. |
