In a rootstock planting at Tiete symptoms consisting of pegs and an orange-yellow coloration occurred at the bud-unions of 8-year-old clonal Pera sweet orange tops on Florida Rough lemon and on trifoliate-orange rootstock. Treess composed of the same Pera orange tops on sweet lime or Rangpur lime showed on xyloporosis symptoms on these rootstocks. In this planting , similar but even more marked bud-union symptoms of indentation into the wood and cracking of the bark were observede on trees with Eureka lemon tops on trifoliate-orange rootstock. |
