The present experiment was performed primarily to reconfirm the source of this enzyme in the genital tract of the goat, and secondly to determine whetcher the enzyme could be eliminated from the semen by removing the Cowper's gland. The composition of semen from the Cowper's gland-removed goats was examined and, in addition, anatomical and histochemical studies were made of the Cowper's gland in an attempt to pinpoint the location of the secretion of phospholopase in the gland. |
