Abstract: Effect of plant age on the phosphorus concentration (% P) expressed(a) on a dry weight basis and (b) on a fresh weight basis in tissues and whole plant tops on townsville stylo. Linear regression of relativewhole plant top dry matter yield (y) on phosphorus concentreation (x) expressed on (a) a dry weight basis and (b) a fresh weight in tissues and whole plant tops of Townsville stylo. Critical phosphorus concentration are interpolated from these equations at relative dry matter yield of 90%. The relative contribution of different plant components to the total dry matter yield of Townsville stylo. |
