The aim of this study has been to assess the contents of natural radionuclides in soils and public external exposures to radiation and to investigate the relationships among the contents of radionuclides in soil with geological, pedological and chemical-physical characteristics of soils. Above all, this study seeks information that may be useful to improve our understanding of the relationships between natural radionuclides in soils and environmental characteristics. |
