In August, 1952, we made an attempt to obtain a fuller estimate of the number of tree speeies in a terra firme community in the state of Pará, in Brazil, by making a count on a plot of a larger size than used previously, namely, on 3.5 hectares. The results of this attempt are reported in the present article. |
