In this work we check possible interference of paramagnetic ions bounded to humic acids, as detected by EPR, in analysis performed by some spectroscopic techniques, which, generally, provides relevant information on structural and functional groups of humic acids. Applying this approach, information about the effect of these metals on obscuring the results otained by spectroscopic techniques as well as about functional groups that involved in the binding of these ions were obtained. |
