Maleic hydrazide (MH) and isopropyl carbament (IPC) were used in two concentrations as pre-harvest foliar spray on sapota trees. Treatment with MH resulted in faster ripening, higher respiration rate and great moisture loss, while treatment with IPC at 100 ppm related respiration, reduced spoilage and also controled ripening. |
