Among the usual lipids found in the insect cuticle, ?-tocopherol and ?-tocopheryl acetate were also isolated from S. cosmioides. On the other hand, no vitamin E derivative was found in A. gemmatalis exuvia. This is the first report of vitamin E occurrence in the insect's cuticle. aAntioxidants aIntegument aLarval development aLepidoptera aSoybeans aTocopherols aAntioxidante aLarva aSemente aSoja aTegumento aTocoferol aLepidotero1 aMIGUES, I.1 aSPECHT, A.1 aBARROS, N.
