B.  aAnálise econômica sobre o manejo nutricional e sanitário em criações de ovinos nas propriedades do Sul de Tocantins.h[electronic resource]  c2008  aResumo: Com o objetivo de analisar bioeconomicamente o impacto do manejo nutricional e sanitário em propriedades do Sul do Estado do Tocantins, através de índices de produtividade, realizou-se um levantamento, por meio de questionário, em 12 propriedades, das quais, selecionou-se intencionalmente seis, que foram divididas em dois grupos: grupo ?A?, contendo três propriedades que realizam adequado manejo nutricional e sanitário; e grupo ?B?, também com três propriedades cujo manejo nutricional e sanitário são deficientes. Após preenchimento do questionário, para aferição dos índices zootécnicos de cada grupo, pode-se vislumbrar a magnitude do impacto dos manejos nutricional e sanitário sobre os sistemas de criação de animais ovinos, demonstrando que as propriedades do grupo ?A?, apesar dos gastos com alimentação e medicamentos, possuem perfil mais competitivo e lucrativo em relação às do grupo ?B?. De posse dos dados dos índices zootécnicos, realizou-se uma evolução de um rebanho, contendo 100 matrizes e três reprodutores, onde o grupo "A" apresentou um maior numero de animais para abate, comprovando a lucratividade dos sistemas que utilizam racionalmente um adequado manejo nutricional e sanitário.  [Economical analysis about the nutritional and sanitary manages on creation of sheep in the properties of south Tocantins State]. Abstract - With the objective of analyzing the impact of the nutritional and sanitary manages bioeconomically in properties of the South of the State of Tocantins, through productivity indices, it accomplished a survey, through questionnaire, in 12 properties, of the which, it was selected intentionally six, that it were divided in two groups: group "A", containing three properties that accomplish appropriate nutritional and sanitarium manages; and group "B", also with three properties whose nutritional and sanitarium manages are deficient. After completion of the questionnaire, for gauging of the productivity indices of each group, it can be glimpsed the magnitude of the impact of the nutritional and sanitary manages on the systems of creation of animals sheep, demonstrating that the properties of the group "A", in spite of the expenses with feeding and medicines, it possess more competitive and lucrative profile in relation to the group "B".
