Francisco river and the Tocantins river, from the northermost part of Minas Geraes to the central-eastern district of Goias. Among the snakes, Epicrates cenchria is represented in that districty by specimens bearing a lower number of subcaudal and a higher number of dorsal scales, those probably representing a new race.
