F. de  aIdade ao primeiro parto e intervalo entre partos de vacas HPB e mestiças HPBbGir.  c1980  aRESUMO - Foram comparadas as idades ao primeiro parto de 52 vacas "Holandês Preto-e-Branco" (HPB), 69 vacas 1/2 FIPB :112 Giz (F ) e 66 vacas 314 HPB :114 Gir (B 5 ). Os animais dos três grupos eram mantidos no mesmo rebanho. F1oram utilizadas principalmente a mseminação artificial com sêmen fresco refrigerado, e a monta controlada com touros HPB para as remeas HPB e F 5 , e touros para as remeas D. O modelo para a idade ao primeiro parto inclui os efeitos (fixos) de ano-época de nascimento da vaca, grau de sangue e a interação destes dois efeitos. Apenas o grau de sangue teve efeitos significativos (P &lt0,05). O modelo para o intervalo entre partos inclui os efeitos de ano e estação do parto, grau de sangue, interações duplas e triplas destes fatores, e regressão linear e quadrática sobre o número ordinal da parição. A interação estação x grau de sangue foi significativa (1'- 0,05). A relação entre o intervalo (E) e a ordem de pazição (N) foi descrita pela equação E- 576,2141,25 N+4,83 N 2 , indicando que o intervalo mínimo foi o correspondente ao quarto parto. ABSTRACT - Ages at first caiving of 52 Hoistein-Friesian (HPB) cows, 69112 HPB :112 Gir (F 1) and 66 314 HPB :1/4 Gir (B 1 ) werecompared. The animais of ali thmegroups were maintained together in the sarne herd. Artificial insemination with fresh semen was mainly used, and also natural mating, with HPB bulls for HPB and F 1 cows, and F 1 bulis for B cows. The modei for age at first caiving included the effects (fixed) of year-season of birth of cow genetic group and the interaction of both etfects. Oniy genetic group effects were significant (P &lt 0.05). The modeF for calving Intervai induded the effect of year and season of calving, genetie group, two and three factor interactions of these efiecis, and linear and guacfratic regression on parity. The season x genetic group interaction was significant (P e 0.05). The relation Stween intervat (E) and parity (N) was described by the equation E - - 576.21-41.23 N + 4.83 W. indicating that the minimum intervai was attained at the 4th calving.
