With the possibility of the transgenic crops to cause negative impacts on the soil microbial communities, emerge the necessity to deep evaluate the real extensions of these impacts. In such case, this document presents some discussions about the interactions between transgenic plants and soil micro-organisms, showing results from different studies conducted by many reseachers in the world and focusing in the evaluated parameters and the methodologies utilised to analyse the microbial communities. abiotechnology aherbicides asoil biology atransgenic plants aBiotecnologia aDoença de Planta aHerbicida aMicrobiologia do Solo aPlanta Transgênica aPopulação Microbiana aPraga de Planta aResistência aMicrobial flora aPests of plants aPlant diseases aResistance1 aMENDES, I. de C.1 aHUNGRIA, M.
