A second objective was to measure the influence of F. hepatica infection on the susceptibility of L. cubensis to the microsporidian infection. In this connection, a modified method for laboratory colonization of L. cubensis was developed and evaluated, based on snail mortality and metacercariae production. Because the snail colony was formed with snails originally collected from two georgraphic areas in Florida, the susceptibility of these snails to F. hepatica was also compared. aMamífero aMolusco aTrematódeo aControl aControle aMammal aMollusk aTrematode
