C. aSoybean response to fertilizers (NPK and NPK plus calcium, sulfur and trace elements) in Uberlandia, MG. Brazil. c1989 ap.746-748. t.2 vt.2 aThe present study was conducted in 1987/88 to determine soybean response (using UFV-5) to differing levels of fertilization. The experiment included complete (NPK) fertilizer and complete fertilizer plus calcium, sulfur and trace elements (NPK, Ca, S, Cu, Zn, B, Fe, Mn and Mo). In four different test plots fertilizer was applied at 0,150,300 and 450 kilograms per hectare in the row at planting time. These levels of fertilization were applied to the plots using complete fertilizer, 4.25.15, and also to those using the complete fertilizer plus calcium, sulfur, and trace elements. Results demonstrated a tendency not statistically significant to increase proeuctivity with the complete fertilizer plus calcium, sulfur and trace elements above the somewhat reduced increase for the complete fertilizer used alone, at all levels of observation. Problems of lodging in the mature plants and the height at which the plants put on beans as affected by the two formulas of fertilization used, demonstrated unnoticeable differences. aBrazil aFertilizante aProdução aRendimento aSoja aBrasil aElemento traco aFertilizer aMicronutriente aMinas Gerais aProduction aSoybean aTrace element aYield1 aPRADO, W.
