Therefor, two amistraz bathed bovines (experience group) were infested with B.microplus larvae obtained from previously explosed to amitraz fully engorged femeale. Two other bovine (control group) were water bathed and infested with B. microplus larvae obtained from previously water bathed fully engorged females. From both groups the tick instars young female, young male, partially engorged female and fully engorged female were colected and examined. The instars examination consisted of stereoscopic observation of it's external morphology. The number of malformations and of malformed individuals were analysed. The malformations were classified according to it's allocation as: of the body, of the capitulum; and of the limbs. The experiense group showed, in all examined instars, an increase of malformed individuals of 40.79% when compared to the control group (P < 0,01). Whitin the control group, partially engorged and fully engorged female were the instars with the highest occurrence of malformations and of malformed individuals, while in the amitraz treated group young females and young males were the troubled instars. The occurrence of capitulum malformations in the experience group was higher than in the control group (P < 0,05). From the results it was concluded that the amistraz estimulates an incrase in number and quality of B. microplus malformations. aBoophilus Microplus aBovino aCarrapato
