The results of mechanical tests show that Young's Modulus increases sharply with zein addition, while decreases with increase in glycerol contento Tensile strength increases with zein addition especially after 50% of zein and decrease with glycerol contento Elongation at break decrease with addition of zein, however a small variation was observed in elongation for blends with more than 20% of zein.
