Florianópolis: INPE; SELPERc2007 ap. 3861-3868 aABSTRACT - The objective of this paper is to analyze agricultural and urban landscape patterns of the Atoleiro basin, next to the Planaltina city located at Federal District. The methodology used can be divided in three stages: (a) preprocessing, (b) endmembers identification and (c) Spectral Angle Mapper (SAM). The images were acquired with atmosphere correction from AST07 product. The Level 2 surface reflectance data set (AST07) contains surface reflectance for all of the nine VNIR and SWIR bands at 15-m and 30-m resolutions, respectively. Endmembers were detected from three steps: (a) spectral reduction by the Minimum Noise Fraction (MNF) transformation, (b) spatial reduction by the Pixel Purity Index (PPI) and (c) manual identification of the endmembers using the N-dimensional visualizer. The spectral classification was done using the Spectral Angle Mapper (SAM).
