The cystic, dorsal lobar and common lobar ducts joined in the dorsal pole of portal fissure to form the common hepatic duct in both species. The termination of common hepatic/bile duct formed an angle of 45 and 35 degree with the duodenum in buffalo and goat, respectively. The length and the diameter of the cystic and common hepatic bile ducts as well as the distances of major duodenal papilla from pylorus and accessory pancreatic duct opening increased significantly with age in both species.  aBuffaloes  aGoats1 aKHATRA, G.
