Mineral balance in sheep at the time of change from winter ration to spring herbage.  c1978  aAbstract: Five non-pregnant ewes were fed a winter ration of hay and concentrates for 16 days, grass only for 14 days, and winter ration again for 7 days. The grass contained more K but less Ca, Mg, P, and Na than the winter ration; crude protein, fat and fibre contents were similar.
