Sapuld et Schrenk (Colletotrichum gloeosporioides Penz), agente causador da podridão-amarga dos frutos de macieira, foi isolado, a partir do mês de julho, em partes internas e externas das gemas florais muito antes da abertura destas. Foi também isolado de todas as partes das flores, em três estádios de desenvolvimento das flores. ABSTRACT - Glomerella cingulata (Ston.) Spauld et Schrenk (Colletotrichum gloeosporioides Penz), the causal agent ot bitter rot of apple, was isolated starting in July in the inner and outer parts of the dormant flower buds.
