Comparisons between north x south direction and DBH height x top position of trees from three species of genus Hymenaea sp. (eight years) were collected in plantation and Hymenaea intermedia (not determined) was collecte from natural sites. We conclude that in spite of the plantation grown tree show tendency of adult wood characteristics, there is still a large variation of those characteristics, as inside as between trees of the same specie. The variation will decrease with the change from juvenile to adult growth of constituents elements of the wood. We suggest to do more studies not only with species Hymenaea but with others woody Amazonian species, as well. |

Resumo: Foi realizado um inventário florístico das espécies nativas arbóreas e arbustivas do SAF e classificadas quanto à síndrome de dispersão. Realizou-se o plantio de mudas nativas em conjunto com estudantes da Escola Carlos Pereira da Silva para promover o enriquecimento do processo de zoocoria no sistema. Também foi avaliado o grau de percepção e conhecimento dos estudantes sobre o SAF por meio de entrevistas. Abstract: We conducted a floristic survey of the native species trees and shrubs of the agroforestry systems and classified as the dispersal syndrome. The planting of native seedlings in conjunction with students from the school Carlos Pereira da Silva to promote the process of enrichment zoochory in the system. It was also evaluated the degree of perception and knowledge of students about the agroforestry systems through interviews. |
