An Experiment was conducted in Seed-plot, nursery and field at the EPAMIC Experimental Station in Uberaba, MG, in order to avaliate the development of rootstocks. Evaluations were made by measuments of height of plants and stem diameter before and after grafting on Rangpur lime, Florida rough lemon, poncirus trifoliata, citrus volkameriana, caipira sweet orange, morton citrange, sunki tangerine and the Cleopatra tangerine. The best results in the height of rooststocks before grafting were obtained with the lemon Citrus volkameriana, Morton Citrange and Rangpur lime. Concerning to the rootstocks diameter, C. volkameriana was the first to reach the ideal size for grafting. For and a hal a half months after transplanting C. volkameriana still showed statistical signicance in relation to poncirus trifoliata and Cleopatra tangerine but not differing from the other treatments. |
