The aim of this study was to evaluate the delta 15N values of N sources from different farming systems and the delta 15N values of the plant products produced in situ. Farms were located in Rio Grande do Sul State, in Brazil, one of the most representative regions of organic agriculture in the country. Samples of all N sources for cropping in each farm were collected. Lettuce, strawberries and tomatoes produced under organic, conventional and hydroponic cropping systems were sampled on these farms. |
