In order to determine which of these three vaccines was the most efficient, an experiment was carried out in goats at the Veterinary laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Weybridge. Results seemed to indicate that the living attennuated vaccine of Elberg and Faunce produced the strongest immunity. This vaccine is prepared from a non-dependent reverse mutant selected from population of streptomycin dependant Br. melitensis orgaanism. |
