ABSTRACT - The mushroom is a food enjoyed throughout the world and each culture has created its own form of consumption. According to Wasser; Weis, 1999.it has about 30% crude protein, minerals, iron, vitamins B1 and B2, calcium, fiber, other essential elements, and low in fat and carbohydrate. The mushroom is a food that meets the demands food for man, because in a small area have major productions, a mean yield 18-20 kg / m² / year. The problem is that to produce 80g of fresh mushroom is necessary 100g substrate for growth of the fungus itself, generating a huge amount of waste. The aim of this study is the inclusion of the substrate of Pleurotus ostreatus on fermentation in vitro of diet of Brachiaria brizantha hay for ruminants, as well as determining differences in gas production with different levels of inclusion. Assessing the degradation kinetics in vitro of diets based on hay with different levels of inclusion of substrate depleted production of Pleurotus ostreatus, and quantify the protein degraded in the rumen from the exhausted substrate of Pleurotus ostreatus. The experimental technique in vitro semi-automated gas production was conducted at the Laboratory of Animal Nutrition at Agua Limpa-Fal/UnB. Three adult cattle were used asdonors was selected two foods a pattern and a potential food: The Hay (F) and substrate Exhausted Pleurotus ostreatus (SE) in five different treatments, 100% (F) as the standard of food, 100% (SE), to test the potential of the material and assess the ability of inhibition or increased gas production, (F) + (SE) 5% (F) + (SE) 20% (F) + (SE) 30%. The experiment was a 5 X 3 factorial with five treatments and three inocula (three animaisdoadores). The analysis of variance was performed by PROC GLM of SAS statistical program (2000). Means were compared by Tukey test (5%). The in vitro degradability of dry matter (DM) estimatedaccording to Theodorou et al. (1994), the predetermined time of 96 hours. The chemical analysis were: MM, MS, CP, NDF, ADF, EE, CF by AOAC (1990) and VAN SOEST et al. (1991). For total gas production was obtained when the treatment (F) + (SE) 5% as much total gas with a production of 284.28 ml of gas going up 8% (F) 100%, reaffirming the status of improve the use of hay by rumen microorganisms. The exhausted substrate of Pleurotusostreatus showed rapid colonization by microorganisms in the rumen, in addition to providing a facilitation in the degradation of hay. The Jaíba Irrigated Perimeter is a large irrigated agriculturearea, located in the region Forest Jaíba between the SãoFrancisco and Verde Grande rivers, in the Brazilian semi-arid region. In 2014, irrigators thisthe region face losses in theinterruption of new plantings in irrigated areas due to water scarcity. The objective ofthis study is combine the modelto estimate the Monteith BIO with the SAFER algorithm in the case of obtaining ET, to analyze the dynamics of naturalvegetation and irrigated crops in water scarcity period. For application of the model are necessary data frommeteorological stations and satellite images. Were used 23satellite images of MODIS withspatial resolution of 250mand temporal 16 days, of 2014 year. For analyze the results,we used central pivots irrigation mask of Minas Geraisstate, Brazil. In areas with irrigated agriculture with central pivot, the mean values of BIO over the year 2014 were88.96 kg.ha-1.d-1. The highest values occurred between April 23 and May 8, with BIO 139 kg.ha-1.d-1. For areas withnatural vegetation, the average BIO was 88.34 kg.ha-1.d-1with lower values in September. Estimates of ET varied withthe lowest values of ET observedin natural vegetation 1,91±1,22 mm.d-1and the highest values in irrigated area isobserved 3,51±0,97 mm.d-1. Results of this study can assist in monitoring of river basins, contributing to themanagement irrigated agriculture, with the trend of scarcity of water resources and increasing conflicts for the wateruse.
