This paper describes a groupware system developed to help people interaction on discussion and voting processes. This system was designed from a model called vIBIS, that is an extension to the IBIS model, proposed by Kunz and Rittel in 1970. Including other features, we show that the system can improve democracy into an organization, by its discussion structuring and its voting methods possibilities. We also show that the system can solve most of the problems of getting group compatible times, since we consider that most subjects can be discussed and voted in an electronic way, making it not necessary that everyone has to be at the same place at the same time. |
