Inheritance of pubescense color in soybena has been considered to be monogenic, the allele T fot tawn being dominat to t for gray. Açthough differetn shades of tawny been recognzed, and shades of gray were distinguisehd in this study, their inheritance has not been reported.A study was undertaken to determine (a) the inhetirance of intermediate-tawny pubescense (Korean type); (b) the inheritance of the gry punescense found ina a few black-seeded varieties, such as Kingwa; and (c) to verify the relation betwen pubescense and hilum-solor genes. |
