In this paper are reported two field evaluations conducted on a leading farm in the Brazil ian Cerrados area, with the objective of validation and diffusion of technologies related to the reclamation and sustainability of areas under agriculture and husbandry usage. It is shown that technologies developed at research stations can help to improve soil fertility and profitability, despite larger investments than traditional farms. In addition, it is also shown that soybean cropping in the area provides a means of producing a fast return on such investments. |
