This is a preliminary report intended primarily for guiding the ICRISAT in the planning of future activities in connection with the village studies and related research projects. As such conclusion drawn should be regarded as tentative and should not be quoted without permission of the author. as more detailed analyses are completed based on tabulation of all the data collected, repots will be issued. This report is primarily based on data which were available at the time of writing which represented only a small portion of the total which will eventually be generated. This paper has benefited from the valuable suggestions of Dr. James G. Ryan, Economist, ICRISAT. |
