Estimaram-se coeficientes de repetibilidade para caracteres de produção de frutos em clones de camucamuzeiro com a determinação do número mínimo de avaliações que devem ser feitas para uma predição acurada do valor real dos indivíduos. Foram avaliados 10 clones pertencentes a um ensaio da Embrapa Amazônia Oriental, em Belém, Pará por doze meses. Ao longo desse período foram colhidos todos os frutos maduros por planta para a mensuração de três caracteresμ número total de frutos (NTF), produção total de frutos (PTF); e peso médio do fruto (PMF). As estimativas de repetibilidade foram estimadas por três métodos. Os coeficientes de repetibilidade exibiram de baixas a médias magnitudes. O caráter peso médio do fruto apresentou, em todos os métodos, a mais alta estimativa, evidenciando regularidade média na repetição deste caráter, para o qual, entre os diferentes métodos, foram detectados valores muito semelhantes em relação ao número de meses necessários para avaliação. Tomando-se por base a estimativa da repetibilidade obtida pelo método dos componentes principais (covariância), recomenda-se avaliar a produção de frutos nos clones dessa espécie por, no mínimo, 41 meses com alcance de λη% de acurácia. |
