In this work, we address the existence of a specific one-way permutation ? a one-to-one and onto mapping whose probability of security failure is negligible for a cryptographic key of arbitrary length ? using a bounded unitary operator U: H → H on a Hilbert space H that is easy to compute on every input, but hard to invert within a polynomial factor given the image of a random input. |
